Dr. Peter P. Turtoro

Dr. Peter Turtoro was born and raised in Pelham, NY, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Fordham University in 1992. After completing a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Temple University in 1996, he pursued advanced training through the AEGD program at UConn Dental School from 1996 to 1998.

In 2002, Dr. Turtoro opened EFD, where he has since built a successful practice. He married Dr. Donofrio in 1999, and together, they reside in Old Lyme with their son Nick, daughter Olivia and their loyal dog, Chewie. 

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Turtoro enjoys fishing, traveling, spending time at the beach, and playing with Chewie. He also has a passion for developing software and cooking delicious Italian dishes for his family and friends.
